We built it because cigars mean something to us — culture, conversation, and taking a breath when life won’t slow down.
The name Taino Leaf 1400 was chosen to honor where it all began.
The Taíno people — Indigenous to the Caribbean — were among the first to cultivate and smoke tobacco. The “1400” marks a time before contact, when the Taíno lived in rhythm with the land, and tobacco wasn’t product or pastime — it was connection, ceremony, and story.
We carry that same energy forward. Every cigar we curate is chosen for its flavor, story, and connection to that legacy.
